Rolando Castillo Flores purchased Finca Santa Rosa in 1991: it is located in the heart of one of the best-known coffee regions of Nicaragua. He always says that his secret to producing great coffee is to 'pick well, sort well, and wash well'. Since 2019, Rolando has been experimenting with natural and honey processes.
In 2020, Finca Santa Rosa received 15th place in the renowned Cup of Excellence Competition in Nicaragua. Rolando's Villa Sarchi natural was one of the more impressive Nicaraguans that the ONA team received this year - it has all the classic natural traits of the region in a refined and polished package.
