This washed, combined lot of SL28/SL34 coffee varietals is processed at the Rukira Washing Station by the Othaya Farmers’ Co-operative in Nyeri Country, located in Central Kenya. The rich, volcanic, and phosphorous rich soil in the area creates an incredibly vibrant and clean flavor profile, which is highlighted by ripe picking, wet pulping and fermentation, and slow drying over 3-4 weeks. This coffee is an example of the incredible quality that is possible in washed processing in this unique and beautiful African country.
