Our first Kenya from this year’s harvest from Nyeri. It’s a blend of all three common varieties - SL-28 and 34, Ruiru 11 and Batian and grown at between 1220 and 2300 masl. 1117 smallholders bring their cherries to the Gathaithi washing station before it is washed processed and sorted. In our search for Kenyan coffees that brought a smile to our faces, this one hit the mark. It’s blackcurrant, cane sugar sweet, and citrus refreshing.
