This naturally processed pacamara placed 3rd in the 2019 ‘Best of Honduras: Late Harvest’ auction, hosted by Project Origin and IHCAFE. This auction program is held each year to celebrate ‘late harvest’ coffees, which typically grow out of normal harvesting season. The microclimates and changing landscapes in Honduras slows down the maturation and development of coffees such as this, creating complex flavor profiles and some of the most unique expressions of coffee we’ve seen from Central America.
