New Peru Coffee!
A must-try gesha-like Peru! The cupping of this coffee started with the disclaimer, “We’re pretty stocked up on coffees, so we’ll really have to love something on this table in order to buy it.” Turns out, we really loved this coffee: our new Alto Lagunillas Peru by Wilson Sucaticona. This particular lot (Bourbon #2) is composed solely of the Bourbon variety which is known for its high cup value & sweetness. When we tasted this coffee we immediately fell in love with its geisha/gesha-like florality and complex fruit notes that range from tropical fruit to sweet citrus to red fruit. It’s sweet and vibrant with tasting notes of cherry blossom, jasmine, golden plum, and vanilla. We highly recommend this coffee for everyone who enjoys a classic washed coffee with elegant floral and fruit notes!
